Schimmersburg

The Schimmersburg is a hamlet belonging to Langenorla in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia . The Schimmersburg is located one and a half kilometers northwest of Langenorla in the Orlatal . Locally leading country road in 1108 and a railway line over.

history

The Schimmersburg was first mentioned in 1833. It is the former Vorwerk of the castle in Langenorla. At the time of the GDR it was used as a children's holiday camp and training home. The Schimmersburg has been used as a guesthouse since 2005 .
