The building at Schloßstraße 11 in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built in 1679. The half-timbered house is a protected architectural monument .

The back of the two-story half-timbered building stands on the defensive wall . According to the inscription, it was built in 1679, the year of the great fire, by the Count's Chief Forester Georg Conrad Wenztel and his wife Susanna Margaretha.
Above the plastered ground floor is a half-timbered upper floor with man-figures and simple parapet strive to see. Inside, a vaulted cellar and vestibule are remarkable. The front door with skylight and the staircase are from the late 19th century. A half-timbered coach house from the first half of the 19th century stands across the house.
