Chropyně Castle is located in Chropyně in Okres Kroměříž , Czech Republic .

The Renaissance building , redesigned into a castle in 1615, was extended and topped up by Matthias Porst according to a plan by Giovanni Pietro Tencallas . This structural change at the beginning of the 18th century gave Chropyně its present appearance. In the castle you have the opportunity to see extensive collections of historical weapons and a collection of pictures by the Czech painter Emil Filla .
