Mariedal Castle , about 9 km north of the Swedish city ​​of Skara , is a Baroque castle in Västergötland .

Chancellor Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie was in 1666 the architect Jean de la Vallée to build a castle on the estate Sörbo the job. The castle with its two wings was named after De la Gardie's wife Maria Euphrosine.

The castle has remained largely unchanged and is now privately owned.
