Schlumbergera russelliana is a species of plant in the genus Schlumbergera from the cactus family(Cactaceae).
description
Schlumbergera russelliana grows epiphytically with richly branched shoots . The oval to elongated shoot sections are 1 to 3.8 inches long and 0.8 to 2 inches wide. In one or two notches on the edges there are areoles with one or two bristles. The areole at the tip of the shoot is linear, composed and covered with some light-colored bristles.
The pendulous, somewhat bell-shaped, pink flowers are radial symmetry. They are up to 5 inches long and 3 to 4 inches in diameter. The spherical to slightly flattened fruits are greenish yellow and four or five-winged.
