The snow soils , also Riedereck on historical maps , are a mountain ridge to the east of the Risserkogel, which ends in the Seebühel above the Riederecksee . The ridge runs up to the Seebühel at an altitude of about 1600 m and drops steeply at the Seebühel to the Riederecksattel.
The ridge, reinforced with mountain peaks, can be reached largely without a path and without a summit cross.
