Schneider construction tables

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schneider building tables are two table works for civil engineers and architects , the 24th edition of which is currently being distributed by the Bundesanzeiger Verlag . The works entitled Construction Tables for Engineers and Construction Tables for Architects are standard works for engineers and architects, as practically all tables, formulas, definitions and laws required in everyday professional life are covered. Both works are usually used during the course.

Up to the 16th edition , the editor was Klaus-Jürgen Schneider , who is still the namesake of the construction tables. The 17th to 20th edition of the construction tables for engineers were published by Alfons Goris; Andrej Albert has been the editor since the 21st edition.

The 17th and 18th editions of the building tables for architects were published under Alfons Goris; the 19th and 20th edition together with Joachim P. Heisel. Andrej Albert and Joachim P. Heisel have been joint editors since the 21st edition.

Up until the 20th edition of the construction tables, these were published by Werner-Verlag . Since 2015, starting with the 21st edition, the publisher has been the Federal Gazette.

Construction tables for engineers

The construction tables for engineers mainly contain dimensioning tables, formulas, corresponding explanations and examples. From the 20th edition, all chapters have been converted to the content of the new Eurocodes (EC). The books deal with the norms common in studies or in everyday work , according to which buildings are planned and dimensioned .

Contents of the 23rd edition are:

  1. Building law ; Construction operations (1 A private construction law / 1 B construction operation - construction process management / 1 C building information modeling / 1 D health and safety protection on construction sites)
  2. Mathematics; Building Informatics (2 A Mathematics / 2 B Building Informatics)
  3. Load assumptions / effects on structures (basics of structural engineering / load assumptions / buildings in earthquake areas / shoring )
  4. Statics; Draft (4 A structural engineering / 4 B structural dynamics / 4 C structural design and preliminary dimensioning)
  5. Reinforced concrete construction (5 A concrete according to DIN EN 206-1 or DIN 1045-2 / 5 B reinforcing steel and prestressing steel / 5 C reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete construction according to EC 2/5 D road bridges in solid construction / 5 E dimensioning and construction tables according to EC 2)
  6. Building maintenance (6 A building supervision, building inspection / 6 B protection and repair / 6 C evaluation and reinforcement of structures / 6 D fastening technology / 6 E building materials and their properties)
  7. Masonry construction ; Glass construction (7 A masonry construction / 7 B glass in structural engineering)
  8. Steel construction (8 A steel construction according to EC 3/8 B crane tracks and fatigue strength according to EC / 8 C composite construction according to DIN EN 1994-1-1 / 8 D steels in construction / 8 E trapezoidal profiles and sandwich components / 8 F steel and composite bridge construction / 8 G Steel construction profiles)

  14. Measurement; Construction drawings (14 A construction surveying / 14 B construction drawings / 14 C general boards; building application and building templates)
  15. Directories

Construction tables for architects

The construction tables for architects partly contain the same content as the tables for engineers, but in an abbreviated form and additional topics are dealt with that are typically in the area of responsibility of an architect.

Contents of the 21st edition are:

  1. Object design
  2. Urban planning / landscaping / road and transport
  3. Building construction / fastenings / building waterproofing
  4. Building physics / fire safety in buildings
  5. Technical building equipment / water supply / waste water drainage
