The high-speed line Ningbo-Xiamen is around 1,000 km long railway - high-speed line between the eastern Chinese coastal cities of Ningbo and Shenzhen .

On June 30, 2009, test drives began on a first 298.4 km long section Wenzhou - Fuzhou . Construction work on the 200 to 250 km / h route began in 2005. Operations on the entire route are scheduled to begin in 2009. In 2010, the section between Xiamen and Shenzhen will finally go into operation.
