The village of Schrotsdorf is a district of the Middle Franconian community Offenhausen in the Nuremberg region / Bavaria .

location

The village is located about 1300 meters northwest of Offenhausen in the Hammerbachtal at the foot of the Buchenberg .

history

With the second Bavarian community edict of 1818 , the village was assigned to the newly formed rural community Offenhausen and is the fifth largest district of the community Offenhausen with around 150 inhabitants.

Townscape

The place is rural. In addition to an old town center with former farms that are well worth seeing, some new buildings were built on the outskirts. Shops and restaurants cannot be found in Schrotsdorf.
