Hallershof is a hamlet in the central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land and forms the northernmost part of the Offenhausen community . With a little over a dozen inhabitants, it is one of the smaller districts of this municipality. Hallershof is located about 22 kilometers east of Nuremberg in the middle section of the Hammerbach valley .

With the second Bavarian community edict of 1818 , the village was assigned to the newly formed rural community Offenhausen together with the neighboring towns of Schrotsdorf , Aichamühle and Egensbach to the south and south-west .
