Klingenhof is one of 14 officially named districts of the community of Offenhausen in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village lies on the high plateau of the Franconian Alb and is at an altitude of 425  m above sea level. NHN . The village is located about three kilometers southwest of the center of Offenhausen.

history

By the early 19th century in the Kingdom of Bavaria carried out administrative reforms was Klingenhof with the second Gemeindeedikt become part of independent rural community Püscheldorf , which also includes the village Ittelshofen belonged. In the course of the communal territorial reform carried out in Bavaria in the 1970s , Klingenhof was incorporated into the Offenhausen community on May 1, 1978 together with the entire community of Püscheldorf.
