The school
The school was built in 1975. The Hauptschule and Realschule have shared one building since the school was founded. Currently around 430 students are taught by 35 teachers at the school. The headmaster is Rainer Janßen.

The school at Luisenhof consists of the main building, the original building from 1975 and an extension from 2007; The school was expanded by six classrooms, for which a second floor was placed on the roof of the school.
The school also has a sports hall, a swimming pool and a student library.
All day school
The school at Luisenhof is a voluntary all-day school . This means that after the regular lessons, which last until 12.50 p.m., there is an extensive voluntary offer for the students. The all-day offer is used by around 90% of the students.
AGs
A total of 17 working groups are offered at the school at Luisenhof. Including z. B. a Porsche AG, where the students work on an old Porsche tractor under expert guidance. Trampolin AG and Koch AG are successful working groups.
Recreation room
The leisure room can be seen as the lowest-threshold leisure offer for the afternoon. The school day for the students ends at 3:30 p.m.
School social work
Since 1996 the school at Luisenhof has had a social worker position at the school. The tasks of school social work include looking after the leisure space available to the students during the breaks and in the afternoon, a variety of prevention work, counseling services and networking with youth welfare offices and counseling centers. Blexer Christmas market
The Blex Christmas market is important and steeped in tradition for the school at the Luisenhof. Approx. four weeks before Christmas, a large Christmas market with several thousand visitors takes place in the school building.
