history

A school operation in Bad Kissingen can be proven since the year 1325. The former school building in Schulgasse 3 is first occupied for the year 1647, but the timber used suggests a significantly older age, at least for parts of the building. The building is a gabled structure with a plastered upper floor. There may be ornamental frameworks under the plaster.

Schools in this building continued until 1852; This year the school was housed in a new building on Von-Hessing-Strasse next to the fire tower. Today there is a snack in the property at Schulgasse 3.
