The Schusterstein is a boulder near Rosemarsow, a district of Altentreptow in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The stone is located about one kilometer east of Rosemarsow and about 600 meters west of state road 35 (formerly federal road 96 ) in the valley of the Marienbach . It is located on the southern edge of the " Goldbachtal " nature reserve . The Schusterstein is a natural monument and is listed as a geotope with the number G2_036. It is part of the Mecklenburg Ice Age Landscape Geopark .

The stone is 3.8 meters high, 5.5 meters long and 4 meters wide. The volume is about 45 cubic meters, the mass is estimated at 121 tons. The high-backed stone is partly in the bed of the Marienbach. It is made of dark gray gneiss . The stone was brought to its place of discovery through ice age glaciers.
