Schwankharthof

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Schwankharthof (formerly Mesnergütl) at Amperstrasse 3 in Emmering in the Fürstenfeldbruck district was demolished in 2012. The State Office for Monument Protection did not enter the house in the list of monuments and the municipality made no efforts to preserve the building, although the Süddeutsche Zeitung reported twice on the property.

The more than 150 year old sacristan property (exact year of construction unknown, the property also had previous buildings, from 1768 the sacristan and teacher Mathias Hirner can be proven on the property) was a Mitterstallhaus . On the gable side there was an extension with a flat roof. The owner Maria Schwankhart had the extension built for a grocery store in 1899, which was in the house until 1910.
