history

The PBC Schwarz-Weiß Kohlscheid was founded in 1977 in the Herzogenrath district of Kohlscheid and initially played in the Schuster restaurant . From 1987 to 1991 the association used a club house made available by a club member and then moved back to the premises of the restaurant. From 1998 Schwarz-Weiß Kohlscheid changed the club house several times. The association used the premises of the PBC Würselen and BC Alsdorf, among others . SW Kohlscheid has been using a former swimming pool of a Kohlscheider school as a clubhouse since September 2003. After Schwarz-Weiß Kohlscheid had played in the district league from 1977, he was promoted to the district league in 1980. In 2005 the club rose from the association league to the major league. There they took first place a year later, but missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in relegation . The following season SW Kohlscheid was third in the league. After the team again missed promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in relegation as first place in 2008, a year later the first place in the upper league was enough for promotion to the newly introduced regional league.

There they finished second behind BSV Wuppertal in the 2009/10 season and thus rose to the 2nd Bundesliga. Schwarz-Weiß Kohlscheid finished fourth in the 2nd Bundesliga in 2011 and 2012 , and in 2013 the club was sixth in the 2nd Bundesliga and only managed to stay in relegation. In the 2013/14 season , SW Kohlscheid came fifth, tied with PBC Lingen , and in 2015 they finished four points behind the promoted 1st PBC Neuwerk third.

Sven Hagen , Clemens Philippen , Dirk Stenten and Ingo Tulodetzki played in the first team in the 2015/16 season . Dirk Stenten was German champion in senior singles in 2014 and 2015 .

The second team of Schwarz-Weiß Kohlscheid has been playing in the top division of the Middle Rhineland billiards association since 2014.
