The 1st PBC Neuwerk (officially: 1st PBC Mönchengladbach / Neuwerk eV ) is a pool club from Mönchengladbach founded in 1970 .

1966 was in the restaurant house Krahe in Mönchengladbach-Neuwerk the club house pool Krahe established. In 1970 it became a member of the Lower Rhine Billiard Association and was renamed 1. PBC Mönchengladbach / Neuwerk eV . Two years later he won the German championship. In 1974 the 1st PBC Neuwerk rose to the top division. There he reached second place in 1978. In 1994 the club switched to the Middle Rhine Billiard Association, where it was promoted to the league in 1999 and in 2006 came second. In 2008 they switched back to the Lower Rhine Billiard Association. In the Oberliga Niederrhein, the club was fifth in 2010 and second in 2011. In 2012 he was promoted to the regional league , in which he reached third place in 2013 and in 2014 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with just one defeat . There they came in second place behind the second team from Fortuna Straubing in the 2014/15 season and thus rose to the 1st Bundesliga . In the first division, the 1st PBC Neuwerk only got four points in the 2015/16 season ; on the ninth matchday a draw against BC Oberhausen succeeded , on the eleventh matchday they won 5: 3 against the 1st PBC Hürth-Berrenrath . In eighth place, the club was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga.

In 1975 Karl-Heinz Lüttgens achieved second place in the German championship as a player in the 1st PBC Neuwerk. Tobias Bongers was runner-up in the junior world championship in 2012 . In 2014 , Sascha Jülichmanns became a member of the Association of German Masters for the first time .

The second team of the 1st PBC Neuwerk rose in 2012 to the Oberliga Niederrhein, in which they barely managed to stay in the league a year later with sixth place. In the 2013/14 season she reached third place.
