The Granitzbach ( Mlýnecký potok in Czech , formerly Lahrenbecherbach in Bohemia ) is a left tributary of the Kettenbach in the Czech Republic and Austria .
course
The Granitzbach rises almost three kilometers northeast of Bad Leonfelden in the Mühlviertel in Austria . Its source is to the east of the village of Pötscher near the Zuckermantl layer in the Leonfeldner highlands on the European main watershed between the Elbe and the Danube . At its upper reaches, the Granitzbach flows in a northeasterly direction past Rading. Between the Fuchsbauer Berg (809 m above sea level. A.) and the Radvanovský vrch (808 m nm) of the stream obtained at the Schwedenschanze after two kilometers in the southernmost point of the Czech Republic at 48 ° 33 '7 " N , 14 ° 19' 59" O , the Czech border.
Over the next five kilometers, the Granitzbach / Mlýnecký potok forms the border between the two countries. On both sides of the strongly meandering brook lie the Radvanov ( Raif Maß ) desert as well as Böhmdorf, Graslmühle and Allhut on this section .
Then the Mlýnecký potok flows into the Bohemian area, where it was previously called Lahrenbecherbach , and flows through Mlýnec ( Lahrenbecher ). The lower reaches of the Mlýnecký potok leads past the Svatomírov ( Zwarmetschlag ) desert and the village of Dolní Drkolná ( Unterschlagl ). After eleven kilometers, the Mlýnecký potok flows into the Větší Vltavice two kilometers east of Dolní Drkolná or one and a half kilometers southeast of the Horní Drkolná ( Oberschlagl ) desert .
The stream flows over a length of two kilometers through Austrian and four kilometers through Czech territory, plus the five-kilometer section as a border stream. The most important tributary is the Bystrá.
