The Schwarze Pfuhl (forest) is a forest area at the southernmost tip of the municipality of Calvörde .

Features and location

Its area is completely enclosed by the Calvörde forest . The Jacobsberg mountain in Calvörde lies in its area . In addition, the Schwarzer Pfuhl (Bülstringen) lies to the east , which is named after the forest area and is a residential area of ​​the municipality of Bülstringen . The forest area is located on Landstrasse 24, which connects Calvörde with Bülstringen. It is known from the Calvörde Chronicle that timber was once brought in from this area for the Calvörde office .
