Swiss Futsal Championship 2018/19
The 13th Swiss Futsal Championship started on October 5, 2018 and ended on March 24, 2019.
This year two teams rose to the top division. The master of NLA FC Semailles took the place of relegated Benfica Rorschach and thus played for the first time in the SFPL. Before the season, the league veteran Futsal Löwen Zurich withdrew from the league, while FC Uetendorf (runner-up in the NLA) slipped in. After 2016, the Thuners were back in the top division.
This season, the playoffs were abolished. Thus, the champion was chosen after 18 match days. Futsal Minerva returned to the throne and secured the third title in the SFPL and the fourth league title overall.
Fernando Manuel da Silva from FC Silva secured the title of top scorer. The 2012 World Cup participant scored 30 goals in 18 games.
Swiss Futsal Premier League - 2018/19
There were no playoffs this season. The first placed became champion, the last placed was relegated to the NLA.
