The Swiss hound , Chien Courant Suisse, is an FCI recognized dog breed from Switzerland ( FCI Group 6, Section 1.2, Standard No. 59 ).

The breed exists in four varieties:

• Bernese hound
• Jurassic hound
• Lucerne hound
• Schwyz hound
