Schwellheim is a Swiss music group from Basel that is primarily active in the reggae and dancehall genres . It consists of eleven musicians.
history
Schwellheim was founded in 2005 in Allschwil , a suburb of Basel, and has had almost the same line-up since it was founded. The band has now released three albums and played over 100 concerts in Switzerland and Germany.
After the first album Klassiker , Schwellheim published Nur dini Seel as the second studio work and qualified as the best German-speaking music group for the final of the European Reggae Contest 2013 as part of the subsequent tour .
In March 2015 her third album Musik für di was released , which reached fifth place in the Swiss album charts and was named “Best Talent” by the national music broadcaster SRF3 in March .
