scobel is a weekly television show on 3sat that covers topics from the fields of science, culture and society and ethics. The TV journalist Gert Scobel is the moderator and namesake . The program's predecessor until April 2008 was the program delta .
Structure of the program
The television station 3sat describes the 60-minute program as an "open journalistic format". The program has a fixed slot on Thursdays at 9 p.m.
In the studio there is usually a conversation with up to five guests and the moderator Gert Scobel. The guests are mostly high-ranking specialists in their field. The discussion within the program is interrupted by film clips, which at the same time provide an impetus for the discussion that follows.
