Scott Bradfield

Scott Michael Bradfield (born April 27, 1955 in San Francisco , California , USA ) is an American writer and university professor.

Life

Bradfield holds a PhD in American Literature from the University of California, Irvine . He has taught at the University of California and the University of Connecticut . He became known for his short stories, which have so far appeared in four edited volumes, but also writes reviews for magazines and newspapers. He wrote the screenplay for the 1998 film Luminous Motion using his first 1989 novel The History of Luminous Motion .

Bradfield's horror story The "Flash" Kid was published in 1984 in Volume 12 of The Year's Best Horror Stories .

Bradfield currently lives in London, where he teaches at Kingston University and the City Literary Institute .
