Scott Loach (born May 27, 1988 in Nottingham ) is an English football goalkeeper who currently plays for Ipswich Town in the English Football League Championship . In 2009 Loach became vice European champion with the English U-21 national team.

Career

Loach signed a professional contract with Watford FC in 2006 , which is not far from his birthplace Nottingham . In order to collect match practice he was awarded a total of three times in the 2007/08 season. First to the Stafford Rangers in the Conference National , then at the beginning of January for a short time at FC Morecambe and finally from the end of January to the end of the season at Bradford City . After returning to the 2008/09 season, he was able to establish himself at Watford as a regular goalkeeper and was instrumental in ensuring that Watford came fifth in the Football League Championship . After a total of six years, he left the club in the summer of 2012 and moved to second division rivals Ipswich Town .

National team

After a few appearances in the U-21 national team, he was allowed to go to the U-21 European Championship with England in 2009 as a substitute goalkeeper . There he came against Germany, including the 0: 4 in the final, to a total of two missions.
