The 1999/2000 season was the second edition of the highest Scottish ice hockey league under the name Scottish League . Before the following season it was renamed the Scottish National League . The league was carried out by the Scottish Ice Hockey Association , the Scottish association under the umbrella of the British Ice Hockey Association Ice Hockey UK .
