The 2012/13 season will host the highest Scottish ice hockey league , the Scottish National League . The league is run by the Scottish Ice Hockey Association , the Scottish federation under the umbrella of the British Ice Hockey Association Ice Hockey UK .

mode

In addition to all teams from the previous year, a team from the Belfast Giants took part in the season. Initially, all teams played a simple round with a return leg. The top eight reached the play-offs .
