Sead Mahmutefendić

Sead Mahmutefendić (born May 29, 1949 in Sarajevo ) is a Croatian-Bosnian poet , novelist , narrator , essayist , publicist and literary critic .

Life

In Konjic he attended elementary school and high school. At the University of Belgrade , he first studied at the Faculty of Philology. After graduating in 1973, he began his literary work. He wrote for magazines, newspapers and radio stations in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. He has written prose works, novels, essays , columns and a collection of poems. He is a member of the writers' association DHK in BiH . His works have been published in Russian, English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Macedonian. He lives and works in Rijeka and Sarajevo.
