The Seahpo Peak is a minor summit of Mount Shuksan in Whatcom County in the State of Washington . It lies about 2 mi (3.2 km) east of the main peak and is 7,441 ft (2,268 m) high. It is located in the North Cascades National Park and is part of the Northern Cascade Range .

The connection to the main summit is the rugged 7,000 ft (2,134 m) high Jagged Ridge; Seahpo Peak stands north on the upper reaches of a headwaters of Sulphide Creek , a tributary of the Baker River . Several waterfalls tumble down its flanks, including Seahpo Peak Falls and Cloudcap Falls. (Seahpo Peak is sometimes called Cloudcap Peak.) The mountain is also on the south side of Nooksack Cirque , which forms the headwaters of the Nooksack River . It is bounded to the north by the East Nooksack Glacier and to the south by some smaller unnamed glaciers. Seahpo Peak is connected to Icy Peak by another unnamed ridge .

The mountain got its name from the French word chapeau for "hat".
