Seamill is a village in the Scottish Council Area of North Ayrshire . It lies on the south bank of the Firth of Clyde and is fused with the town of West Kilbride . Seamill is directly connected to the trunk road network through the A78 . In 1961, Seamill had 526 residents.
history
Seamill developed around the location of a mill, from which the name of the village is derived. In the late 19th century, care and spa facility in Seamill be set up, including the now classified as a monument of the highest category A Scottish Seamill Center . In addition, the village became a holiday destination for summer visitors.
