Sean Dillon (born July 30, 1983 in Dublin ) is an Irish football player who has been under contract with the Scottish club FC Montrose since 2017 . Originally only used as a right full -back, he plays as a left full-back and less often in midfield .

Career

As a teenager, Dillon played for the English club Aston Villa . He signed his first professional contract in 2002 with the Irish club Longford Town , with which Sean Dillon won the FAI Cup twice and the League of Ireland Cup once . In 2006 Dillon became Irish champions with Shelbourne before moving to Dundee United in 2007, where he won the Scottish Cup in 2010.
