Sean Lake (born December 6, 1991 in Whyalla ) is a former Australian cyclist and rower.

Career

Sean Lake began his athletic career in 2006 as a rower. In the junior division, he started at the international level three times from 2011 at the U23 World Championships in the easy foursome and in the easy single . In 2012 he achieved his best result with sixth place. It was used once at the Rowing World Cup in 2013.

Until then, Lake had been a hobby of cycling. In the fall of 2014 he made his debut as a cyclist at the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic and won the Australian classic Grafton to Inverell a little later . 2015 was the first year in which Lake dedicated himself entirely to competitive cycling. He won Grafton to Inverell again and a stage of the Tasmania Tour . The following year he won the two-time title of Oceanian champion, in the individual time trial and in the road race, and was able to repeat this success in 2017. In 2018 he finished second in the individual time trial of the Oceania Championship.
