Stockley Bridge at Seathwaite

Seathwaite is a hamlet in the valley and civil parish Borrowdale in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The settlement is about 13 km south of Keswick and can be reached via a small road from Seatoller at Honister Pass .

The River Derwent arises above Seathwaite from the confluence of the Styhead Gill and Grains Gill at Glaramara .

With an average rainfall of 3552 mm per year, the place is considered the rainiest inhabited place in Great Britain.
