Sebastian Fries (born January 24, 1993 in Karlstadt ) is a German football player .
Career
Fries started his football career in 1998 at TSV Wiesenfeld before moving to the C-youth team at SV Viktoria Aschaffenburg in 2005 . He played at Aschaffenburg for three years, rose to the A-youth level and moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in 2008 .
On March 26, 2011, Fries made his debut for the reserves of FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the 2: 4 defeat against the second team of FC Erzgebirge Aue and scored the 2: 3 in the 49th minute exactly three minutes after being substituted on. The 18-year-old then played again in the A-Jugend-Bundesliga for the FCC and made his professional debut in the 3rd division on April 29, 2011 against Kickers Offenbach . Shortly before the end of the game, he prepared the 2-0 for René Eckardt in the 90th minute . In the 2011/12 season he was already a permanent member of the professional squad and came to 19 games and two goals for the first team, which, however, was relegated from the third division. After the 2013/14 season he left FC Carl Zeiss and joined the Würzburger Kickers .
On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against 1. FC Saarbrücken .
