Sebastian Gazurek (born June 18, 1990 in Istebna ) is a Polish cross-country skier .

Career

Gazurek has mainly competed in the Slavic Cup since 2006. He came on the podium eight times and finished fourth in the overall ranking in 2011. In November 2010 he took part in his first World Cup race at the Nordic Opening . He achieved his best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , being 60th in the sprint and 16th in the relay. In January 2014 in Szklarska Poręba , he achieved his best individual World Cup placement to date with 48th place in the 15 km mass start race. His best results at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi were 55th place over 15 km classic and 15th place in the relay. In February 2015, at the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, he achieved 61st place over 15 km freestyle, 42nd place in the sprint and 15th place with the relay.
