Sebastian Goy

Sebastian Goy (born September 14, 1943 in Stuttgart ) is a German poet and radio play author .

Goy grew up with six siblings in Upper Bavaria. After graduating from high school, he studied pedagogy. He was a teacher for several years and from 1981 to 1984 an editor in the radio play department of the broadcaster Free Berlin . He published novels, children's books and around 100 radio plays. He has lived in Dießen am Ammersee since 1991 . Since then, Goy has mainly written children's books, plays, prose and radio plays, but also crime novels . Sebastian Goy edited the crime novels by Sjöwall , Wahlöö and Tony Hillerman for the funk. In 1998 he won the German Radio Play Award and in 1999 the German Record Critics Award .
