Sebastian Piotrowski (born October 5, 1990 in Saarbrücken ) is a former German - Polish professional football player .

Career

Piotrowski played in Saarbrücken in the Oberliga Südwest until 2011 . He switched to league rivals FC 08 Homburg in the summer . In January 2013 Piotrowski moved to SVN Zweibrücken. But already in the summer of 2013 he left the club in the direction of Elversberg . First, Piotrowski played in the second team. On October 19, 2013, the 13th matchday, he made his debut in the 3rd division . In the 0-2 defeat against VfB Stuttgart II , he came on for Felix Dausend in the 70th minute . There were five more third division games, and at the end of the season Elversberg was relegated to the regional league. Piotrowski was mainly used in the reserve team, for which he scored twelve goals in the league.

In the summer of 2014, Piotrowski surprisingly announced the end of his career as a footballer. He wanted to concentrate on his theology studies and went to the Augustinian Canons of the Congregation of Windesheim in the Bavarian monastery of St. Michael in Paring . Since summer 2018, Sebastian Piotrowski and Andreas Oberhauser have been the player-coach at the association league club VfB Theley .
