Sebastian Schnülle

Sebastian Schnülle (born May 21, 1970 in Wuppertal ) is a German musher who ended his active racing career in 2011.

He comes from Wuppertal, grew up in Friedeburg in East Friesland , until he emigrated to Ontario in 1996 , then to Yukon , Canada .

He made his debut in the most prominent dog sledding races in 1999. Since 2005 he has participated in both the Yukon Quest and the Iditarod . He won the Yukon Quest in 2009. In the same year he finished second behind Lance Mackey at the Iditarod .

During the winter he works at his company Blue Kennels in Whitehorse , Yukon. During the summer he works in Juneau , Alaska .
