Sebastian Schoof (born March 22, 1980 in Niederkassel) is a German soccer player .
Career
The 1.90 m tall center forward played in his youth for FV Bad Honnef , Bonner SC , FC Hertha Rheidt and SCB Preußen Köln , for whose first team he already scored twelve goals in 28 games in the 2000/01 top division. He then moved to the Bayer 04 Leverkusen regional league team in 2001 , where he was trained by Thomas Hörster . When he briefly took over the professional team in the 2002/03 season, Schoof was also called up and made seven Bundesliga appearances, in which he scored two goals. In the following season he moved to Rot-Weiss Essen in the Regionalliga Nord and achieved the championship and promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga with the club.
In the 2005/06 season he played for the second division promoted Sportfreunde Siegen until the winter break . In January 2006, Schoof moved to league rivals SC Paderborn 07 . For the 2006/07 season the striker joined the regional league team BSV Kickers Emden .
In June 2007 he terminated his contract with Emden and switched to Rot Weiss Ahlen . Schoof only stayed there for half a year and joined Germania Dattenfeld in January 2008 . From 2011 the striker played for Sportfreunde Troisdorf in the Middle Rhine League . In the summer of 2013 Schoof moved to the Bonn club Blau-Weiß Friesdorf , for which he played for two years.
Sebastian Schoof made seven Bundesliga appearances (two goals) and 32 second division games (three goals) as well as 86 regional league games (25 goals) in his career.
