Blau-Weiß Friesdorf (full name: Football Club Blau-Weiß Friesdorf eV ) is a German football club from the Bonn district of Friesdorf . The first team made it to the fifth-class Middle Rhine League in 2015 .

history

In 1909 the older parent club was founded with the railway worker SV Blau-Weiß Bad Godesberg . In 1921, the DJK Concordia Friesdorf was founded as the second parent club. In 1935 the DJK Concordia was banned and dissolved by the National Socialists . The re-establishment took place in 1953. In 1970 the railway operator SV and Concordia merged to form DJK Blau-Weiß Friesdorf , whose football department became independent in 2013 under its current name. The most successful parent club was the railway operator SV, which played from 1956 to 1961 and from 1962 to 1967 in the then fourth-class Mittelrhein regional league . The greatest successes were the fifth places in the seasons 1956/57 and 1963/64.

After the merger, the DJK Blau-Weiß initially played for decades at the district level. In the 1980s, the rise in the district league succeeded for the first time, but rose again after a year of membership. In 1996 he was promoted to the district league again. The Friesdorfer belonged to this league for eleven years before they were promoted to the regional league in 2007. There the blue-whites were runner-up behind the SG Köln-Worringen in 2012 . Due to the poorer point quotient compared to Hilal Bergheim , the Friesdorfer did not rise. Three years later, Blau-Weiß secured the championship and promotion.
