The FC Viktoria 08 Arnoldsweiler e. V. is a German football club from Düren - Arnoldsweiler , whose men's team has played in the Middle Rhine League since the 2009/10 season . The club plays its home games in the Bertram Möthrath Stadium .

history

The association was founded in 1908. In the years up to 1963, the club played at district level with the exception of the 1947/48 season. In 1963 you could again move up to the district class. It took 12 years until 1975 for the first time to be promoted to the then fourth-class national league, which was held until 1992. It succeeded the immediate resurgence until you had to accept renewed relegation in 1998, which culminated in 2002 with another descent into the district league. But you could recover and rose again after two seasons and two years later even made your return to the state league perfect. In turn, it took a direct relegation to the greatest success in the club's history to date. In 2008 he returned to the regional league and then managed to march straight through to the Middle Rhine League, which can be held until the current 2013/14 season and in the 2012/13 season with 4th place and the interim chance at the Middle Rhine Championship had the best season in the club's history.
