The FC Pesch is a football club from Cologne . The team played in the 2017/18 season and from 2019 in the Middle Rhine League .

history

The club was founded in 1956 and for a long time only played football in the lower classes. In 2004 he was promoted to the district league as champions of the district league A, followed by the next championship and promotion to the regional league Mittelrhein in 2006 . After relegation in 2008, FC Pesch returned to the national league two years later. In 2017, however, the season in the Landesliga Mittelrhein could be finished second in the table, so that the club rose to the top division for the first time in its history and will compete in the Mittelrheinliga from the 2017/18 season . As the bottom of the table, the team promptly had to relegate again, but made it to the Middle Rhine League again in 2019.
