The country house at Seestrasse 6 in Utting am Ammersee in Upper Bavaria ( Landsberg am Lech district ) is a picturesque half-timbered building from 1894. The building is a listed building (file number: D-1-81-144-17).

description

A Sölde belonging to Andechs Monastery , which was located at this point, was demolished in 1880. In 1894 the property came into the possession of the Augsburg brewery school director Emil Leyser, who had Carl Abel build the villa-like half-timbered country house. The two-storey, slightly angled building has a partly embossed ground floor and a crooked roof on the narrow sides , the upper floor with knee stick is provided with half-timbering. The country house has loggias with protruding balconies on the south deck and on the north-east side , the south is closed with glazed half-timbering. On the garden side there is a central risalit with a gable roof. The gable fields as well as the street-facing knee are widened. In front of the north-eastern entrance there is a cautiously identical garage building.
