Selahattin Selçuk Özkan (born January 18, 1985 in Fethiye ) is a Turkish football player who plays for Hatayspor .

Career

society

Özkan began with club football in the team of his hometown Fethiye, at the then third division Fethiyespor . Since his club had an agreement with the Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara to promote talent, Özkan was transferred to the youth department of the first division club in 2001. He played here for two years before receiving a professional contract in the summer of 2003. After he had played the first half of the 2003/04 season only for the reserve team, he was transferred to the second team Gençlerbirliğis, Gençlerbirliği ASAŞ , in the 2013/14 winter break . At this club, he immediately established himself as a regular player. At the end of the season, his team reached the championship squad of the TFF 3rd Lig and thus promotion to the TFF 2nd Lig . After one and a half more seasons Özkan left this club and spent the second half of the 2006/07 season as a loan player at his home club Fethiyespor. In the summer of 2007, his loan contract was then extended for another season.

For the 2008/09 season he dissolved his contract with Gençlerbirliği Oftaş and moved to city rivals Türk Telekomspor . After Telekomspor, stadiums at Etimesgut Şekerspor , Fethiyespor and Eyüpspor followed .

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for first division relegated Orduspor . After just one season, he left this club for third division Hatayspor .

National team

Özkan played once for the Turkish U-20 national team in 2006.
