Selbeck ( Low German : Selbke ) is a district of the municipality of Barntrup in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Lippe in Germany .
history
Selbeck was first mentioned in writing in 1357 as Zelbeke .
The Selbeck community was re-established on October 1, 1921 by being separated from the Sommersell community . On January 1, 1969, the place was incorporated into the city of Barntrup.
