Seltz ( Luxembourgish Selz ) is a village in the canton of Vianden , Luxembourg , the greater part of which is in the municipality of Tandel and a smaller part in the municipality of Bettendorf .

Seltz is located in the Blees valley , on the northern edge of the village the Ramgriecht flows past the village, which flows a few meters further into the Blees. Through the town runs the national road 17 neighboring towns are in the north of Long village and Tandel , in the south Bleesbrück . Two houses in the village are not in the municipality of Tandel, but in the municipality of Bettendorf. The municipal boundary runs right through the village.

General

Seltz is a small hamlet with only 18 inhabitants, the larger part of which has belonged to the municipality of Tandel since January 1, 2006, previously the municipality of Bastendorf .
