Senckenberg book
The Senckenberg books are a natural history book series by the Senckenbergische Naturforschenden Gesellschaft (SNG), which has been published by Waldemar Kramer in Frankfurt am Main since 1926 . Newer volumes have been published in Stuttgart by Schweizerbart on commission. The series is named after the Frankfurt naturalist Johann Christian Senckenberg (1707–1772). One focus of the series is paleontology . Some books appeared in different editions, the book Laws of Seeing by the psychologist Wolfgang Metzger (1899–1979), for example, under four different numbers.
