The station Bad Mergentheim (Drillberg) is a filling station for radio. It is located above Bad Mergentheim on the Drillberg, about one kilometer west of the city center. A free-standing concrete mast is used as an antenna carrier.
From here the city of Bad Mergentheim and the surrounding area are supplied with the antenna 1 radio program . The frequency 101.2 MHz has already been coordinated for a broadcast with 0.01 kW.
Until the introduction of DVB-T , the television programs ZDF (transmission power: 0.06 kW) and SWR Fernsehen (transmission power: 0.06 kW) were broadcast terrestrially by this station.
