Localization of Baden-Württemberg in Germany

The transmitter Wiesensteig is a filling station of the Südwestrundfunk (formerly the Süddeutscher Rundfunk ) for radio. It is located above Wiesensteig in the immediate vicinity of the Albaufstieg of the federal motorway 8 , about two kilometers east of the city center. A free-standing reinforced concrete mast is used as an antenna carrier.

From here, the town of Wiesensteig and the surrounding area are supplied with the SWR radio programs.
