Sengoku (clan)
The Sengoku ( Japanese 仙 石氏 , Sengoku-shi ) were a family of the Japanese sword nobility ( Buke ) from the province of Mino, which was derived from the Toki ( Seiwa-Genji ). With an income of 30,000 Koku , the Sengoku , who last resided in Izushi ( Hyōgo Prefecture ), belonged to the smaller Tozama daimyō of the Edo period .

- Hisamori ( 久 盛 )
- Hidehisa ( 秀 久 ; 1551-1614), Hisamori's son, served Toyotomi Hideyoshi . He subdued the island of Awajishima and captured Sumoto Castle in 1581. However, he was defeated in 1583 Chōsokabe Motochika on Shikoku and in 1586 Shimazu Yoshihisa in the province of Bungo . After the sinking of the Odawara-Hōjō in 1590 he received Koromo (Shinano Province) with an income of 60,000 Koku.
- Tadamasa ( 忠 政 ), Hidehisa's son, was transferred to Ueda ( Shinano Province ) in 1622 with 60,000 koku. In 1706 the family moved to Izushi (Tajima Province) with 30,000 koku and resided there until 1868. Then Vice Count .
